Terms of Service

The short version.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of armadaworks.ai and related services (the "Service"). The Service is operated by Scout & Yessie LLC, a California limited liability company doing business as Armada Works (referred to as "Armada Works," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. Last updated April 27, 2026.

This page governs your use of the site itself. Any actual engagement between Scout & Yessie LLC (dba Armada Works) and a client is governed by a separate, signed statement of work.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. If you're using it on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind them to these Terms.

2. The site versus an engagement

The site describes Armada Works' consulting services, positioning, and case studies. Price ranges on /pricing are typical; exact scope and fee are determined during the discovery call.

No content on the site constitutes a binding commercial offer, service-level agreement, or professional advice. If we work together, we'll sign a separate statement of work covering scope, fees, timeline, deliverables, data handling, and mutual obligations. That document: not the site: governs the engagement.

3. Admin accounts

Most of the Service is public and requires no account. The internal admin dashboard at /admin is restricted to email addresses on our admin allowlist and is for internal Armada Works use. If you receive a magic-link sign-in email in error, ignore it and let us know.

4. AI-generated content on this site

Some content on this site (blog posts, case studies, marketing copy) is drafted by AI agents and reviewed by a human before publication. We don't represent AI-generated drafts as fully verified; we stand behind what's published after review like any other content we author.

AI agents referenced in the site's description of our services are our internal tools. They are not accessible to site visitors and do not generate output for you via the site.

5. Intellectual property

Our content.Site copy, design, code, case studies, and branding (including the “Armada Works” name and associated marks) are owned by Scout & Yessie LLC or licensed to us. These Terms do not grant you rights in our trademarks or brand assets.

Open-source tools. Parts of the site are built with open-source software under their respective licenses. Those licenses remain in effect and are not altered by these Terms.

Third-party content.Where we describe clients' or partners' work (case studies, logos, testimonials), we do so with permission. Don't redistribute those specific sections without also asking the underlying party.

Fair use. Quoting or linking to the site with attribution is fine.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws
  • Scrape the site with automated tools at a rate that materially increases our hosting costs, or bypass rate limits
  • Attempt to access non-public endpoints (anything under /admin or /api) beyond publicly documented ones
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract credentials or implementation details from the Service
  • Impersonate Armada Works, our team, or our clients, or imply endorsement that wasn't given
  • Submit deliberately false information through the contact form or booking system
  • Upload or reference content that is defamatory, obscene, or that infringes third-party rights
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or attempt to gain unauthorized access to its infrastructure

7. Third-party services

The Service integrates with third-party providers for functionality including hosting (Vercel), database (Supabase), email delivery (Resend), booking (Calendly), analytics (PostHog), and AI processing (Anthropic). Your use of those integrations is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We're not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services except to the extent we contract with them to operate the Service on our behalf.

8. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. Material changes to public functionality are communicated here or by email where reasonable.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. NOTHING ON THE SITE CONSTITUTES PROFESSIONAL, LEGAL, FINANCIAL, OR OTHER REGULATED ADVICE.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SCOUT & YESSIE LLC (DBA ARMADA WORKS) AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, MEMBERS, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR USE OF THE SITE (AS DISTINCT FROM A SIGNED ENGAGEMENT, WHICH HAS ITS OWN LIABILITY PROVISIONS) SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Scout & Yessie LLC (dba Armada Works) and its officers, directors, employees, members, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to (a) your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, (b) your violation of any third-party rights, or (c) content you submit to the Service that infringes or misappropriates the rights of others.

12. Dispute resolution and governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation is unsuccessful within 30 days, either party may pursue resolution in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts.

13. Termination

We may suspend or block access to the Service for any user we reasonably believe is violating these Terms or engaging in conduct harmful to us or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination: including disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law: will survive.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through a prominent notice on the site, or by email to addresses we hold on file, at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

15. General provisions

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Scout & Yessie LLC regarding use of the Service, superseding prior agreements. You may not assign your rights without our consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
